Touch Down

A note of goodbye (for now) and thanks.

As this turbulent year draws to a close so too does the Little Mumblings blog. This blog has been such a special place for my personal writing development and mode of cataloging a personal journey.

I’ve been writing here since second year of university, and wow so much has changed during these past few years! In my efforts to save all the content which has been shared here over the last 2 (almost 3) years, I’ve read each of the 33 posts. With each post, there is a tangible sense of a voice growing, one which I owe to this space. Part of the intention with starting the blog was to find a creative outlet, to exercise a mental muscle which was under utilised.

I am very thankful to everyone who has popped in and read my posts over the duration of this space. The feedback received has been helpful and a positive boost during periods of difficulty or uncertainty.

When the email came through to confirm if i was going to renew for the upcoming year it was with a heavy heart that I clicked cancel. But, its not quite over pals.

This space has shown to me how much I enjoy writing and creating personal content, but its also shown me that I want to do it with other people; to share the works of others alongside my own. So, keep an eye out in the new year for Vaguely Mag. This will be a creative online space which will host a mish-mash of things- from tunes to words, pictures to voices. Like Little Mumblings, Vaguely will be a space that will ebb and flow, shifting with its contributors. We are very much in the early phases of development for Vaguely, so please to be patient as there is a lot of work to be done. If you want to keep up-to-date with the latest developments of Vaguely then follow our instagram – @vaguelymag . If you want to contribute to the new space then drop us a line at vaguelymag@gmail.com

Thank you again for reading today and for the last few years, its been a pleasure to share the mumblings of my brain with you.

Catch you some time soon, some place new.

Ciao, Molly.
